Pilot Information

The airfield has two circuit patterns which are to be flown by all aircraft. To view the circuits on a map click on the link below:

Please take special notice of the no-fly zones marked on this map. Do NOT fly over our neighbours properties as it contravenes our planning permission and creates resentment in the local community.

Circuit patterns for all aircraft.
These circuits are suitable for most ‘Group A’ aircraft and microlights. If necessary, they may be extended for larger aircraft as long as no properties are overflown. Under no circumstances should these circuits be shortened.

Circuits and General
Remarks
Circuit Height 800 feet QFE.

01 Right Hand
08 Right Hand
26 Left Hand
19 Left Hand

Avoid all properties.

Please join overhead at 1500ft QFE and let down to circuit height on the dead side. Aircraft in the circuit should keep a sharp lookout for slower
aircraft. Also keep a lookout for local aircraft
operating out of other local fields outside of Eshott Airfield’s
jurisdiction.

Radio frequency 122.850 ‘Eshott Radio’ call blind if the radio is not being
operated.

Model Aircraft flying up to 300ft takes place on Sundays in a field South East of the aerodrome. The field is exactly 1.6nm from the threshold of Runway 01, heading 110 degrees. Although this should not affect pilots, they should be aware of it.

Visitors welcome but please PPR.
